Today I was thinking of all the Jennifers I know. It occurred to me that four of the Jennifers I know are all short, five feet and under. Oddly, I categorize girls five feet and under into one group...and most of these girls are Jennifers! What's interesting about girls named "Jennifer" is that they all try to make their names unique. With so many Jennifers in the world, I don't really blame them. Oh yeah, a lot of Jennifers don't like to go by the actual name "Jennifer," but instead they all shorten it to something like "Jen" or "Jenny." As I was saying, Jennifers will try to make their names unique. For example, I have a friend who spells her name "JennIE" and I have another friend who spells her name "JennY." Then, I have another friend who has decided to actually get rid of one of the "n's" and go by the spelling "JeNI" with the unconventional "i" ending. The even-more shortened version is "Jenn." I am sorry to say that I do not know anyone who spells their name "Jen" with one "n," but I bet you there are many. So there you have my four friends: Jennie, Jenny, Jeni, and Jenn. They are all five foot and under.
